Brilliant
I really like this knife - have used for 9 years abs a general farming pocket knife and the handle has finally worn out - happy with it and replacing with the same
Blade corroded quickly and rather easily. And after comparatively little use. Design and cosmetics top notch and nothing wrong with the construction, but the steel simply isn't of a high grade. Inexpensive, so perhaps I shouldn't be surprised!
As with the majority of HH orders this arrived next day. The knife is ideal for outdoor use due to the rubber type scales. The lock closed/lock open feature is very useful and is fairly easy to operate with one hand. The knife will be used primarily for gardening. The blade is very sharp and the serrated section is useful for cutting small branches and tough weeds. The bottle opener is also useful as a hanger. Very happy.
I have one of these knives I bought elsewhere before I found Heinnie Haynes. Good knife, what is says on the tin, sharp out the box, light to carry, feels nice in the hand and best of all it locks open and closed. Just what I needed, great for a knife, made in China plus a cool bottle opener to boot all in all a good product.
Had this knife for a couple of months and it's held up well to daily warehouse tasks, it holds a decent edge but more to the point it's very easy to touch up on a ceramic rod. I only have one problem with the Redpoint, it's started to develop rust spots on the blade and under the finger grove, I haven't exposed it to water or even high humidity so I was a little disappointed. For anyone buying it I would surgest a light coat of WD40 every few days, that aside its a great work knife.
Well crafted knife, I particularly like the fact that the knife locks closed, in my opinion an excellent safety device. All in all a well designed and manufactured piece of kit. Made in China , so what, if the quality is there thats all that counts Heinnies rapid dispatching is amazing. Full marks are well deserved
One of my best friends bought me this as a birthday present and I'm well chugged with it. Nice one handed opening action and the fact that it locks in the closed position as well as the open one makes it a really secure knife to carry. Shame we live in times when these are not legal to carry. In summary this is a truly great working knife and it's razor sharp.
