Heinnie Haynes is now employee-owned

Heinnie Haynes® has been in operation since 1996, when Bruce Bollington sold his first multi-tool from his spare bedroom in Cardiff. Soon afterwards, Bruce established Lorax Limited, trading as Heinnie Haynes®. The company went from strength to strength and soon gained a name for itself as the premium source for the hardest kit on the planet.
The years rolled by, through the rough and the smooth. The company grew, and Bruce was joined by a growing number of colleagues. 24 years after he started, the time was right for Bruce to step back from the daily operation of Heinnie Haynes®. He could have put the company up for sale, and taken a handsome amount for his retirement fund, but that’s not Bruce’s style. He’s always believed in looking after his staff, and what better way to show his trust in his workforce than selling the company to its employees.
On Friday 6th February 2020, control of Lorax Limited was transferred to an Employee Ownership Trust. The staff now have more than just-a-job, they have a real interest in seeing the company grow, and ensuring that the already-high standards are maintained and improved upon.
Heinnie Haynes® already has an enviable reputation for excellent customer service. The new company structure will ensure that this continues into the future, with staff taking personal responsibility for making sure that the customer comes first.
Give us a call, or order as normal at Heinnie.com®, You’ll be safe in the knowledge that your order will be processed, picked and packed by the owners of the company, and when you speak to us, you’ll be speaking with one of the owners.
Thank you for your continued custom. It’s much appreciated.
