So this was on sale for a couple of days for 43quid! Saw it, my son had been eyeballing it for ages so I bought it for Xmas for him. It came the next day (fantastic service H.H) he and I are very impressed with this super sharp very sleek looking knife! Sheath looks good too lots of mounting options. Now there must have been either lots of interest or none because it did not stay on offer very long! Went to order one for myself because was that impressed with it and it had gone back up to full price! Whoa is me.

No need for tech' specs. This is a great lightweight all rounder with definite outdoor/survival application. I see the seal pup as a back up piece to a larger blade and in that respect would not render it obsolete to the newer seal pup elite both perform well. You will never fell a tree with either but the seal pup original does have the same blade coating as the bigger seals unlike the elite series and in that it has its appeal. A kydex sheath will make my seal pup more compact to carry as it is a bit dwarfed in its standard nylon scabbard. Ideal as a personal back up/grab pack addition, much better than a folder...
