Not to big not to small not to heavy

Posted by James on 21st Feb 2024

Being out on multiple night camps regularly “sometimes with groups and sometimes solo" I needed a pot big enough and versatile enough to not only throw a stew together for two, but also use it to bake occasionally… I looked for along time before settling on this one because I had some specific requirements… this one had them all….Being into the wildcamping and bushcraft side of things I needed a pot with a bail handle that will allow me to hang a pot over camp fire and the lid was a must for various reason….. the bonus is this like my smaller 750ml titanium pot also has butterfly handles which is a massive bonus…. My smaller 750ml pot nests inside this one along with other stuff such as my firefighting kit, a few 3 in one brews stock cubes and other bits n bobs… the pan distributes heat well feels like it’s going stand up to the abuse it will probably end up getting on out camps ? all in all it’s a really good bit of kit.. not to heavy but cooks better than titanium in one personal opinion ??

Ordered and delivered in two days, this Bush pot is excellent quality and design is perfect for open fire cooking. Very sturdy and highly recommended especially at £21.95 and in stainless steel.

    Fantastic bit of Kit

Just had it arrive, usual brilliant service from Heinnie! Not used it yet, but own other Pathfinder products, this 2nd gen has much better handles than the version 1 that put me off getting that, they were the same as the ones on the 715ml pot that comes with the SS bottle. Now much bigger and thicker. Its clear to see the usual high quality at a low price is very much still in effect. Also the lid hold securely, but you wont need to put a huge amount of force into getting the lid off as you do with other pathfinder lids.
