The Kansept Hazakura is a lightweight folder with many outstanding qualities. The slightly upswept blade opens on a ceramic ball bearing pivot so is incredibly smooth. Despite that it locks firmly into place with the precision linerlock.

The handle is G10 in a choice of either black or jade. A pocket clip is attached and a lanyard hole will aloow you to make the knife your own with a length of paracord.

Great looking Japanese style knife,Very well built and super slick flip action, available in a few variations like other kansept knives.comes with a nice pouch, and pocket clip and even a cleaning cloth, box is collectible as well, awesome

Another New Knife With A Substandard Edge

I purchased this knife as I wanted a folder with a slightly upswept blade for fileting trout. On one side of the blade the edge stops short of the very tip. So yet again I shall have to pay out for a new knife to have a proper edge on it. I have a disability that affects my hands and so sharpening is very difficult for me. A new knife should have a work-sharp edge for the job/s it was designed for relevant to the materials used. It's a shame because otherwise this is exactly what I was after. The front flipper may be a little fiddly for some but it is fast and very smooth, as is the closure. The remainder of the fit and finish is very good, and I particularly like the way the blade graduates down into the handle such that the tip cannot catch even a thread when closed.
