With an average blade length of 11.6cm (4.57 inches), these knives are specially dimensioned for use with gloves (including heavy heat-protective gloves). The handle scales are uniformly made of heat resistant G10 with a non-slip Dönges honeycomb structure. All knives have a 4-way reversible wire clip (for tip-up, tip-down r/l carry modes), blades made of edge retaining D2 with a ball-bearing axle, jimpings at the blade base for fibrous material, a retractable belt-cutter and a glass-breaker.
The special feature of the Professional Rescue Sheepfoot blade is the removable thumb disc. This allows the knife to be used either as a one-hand or two-hand opening knife. Otherwise, the knife has the same strong features of the other Professional models in terms of material, design and equipment. G10 scales in SAR orange so you'll always pick it out of the rest of your kit.
