The Boker Plus Mini Tracker, designed by Dave Wenger, impresses as an extremely stable outdoor knife with a substantial blade made of 1095 carbon steel, which has an excellent corrosion protection thanks to the abrasion resistant powder coating.

The custom knifemaker from Michigan already craved knives, axes and swords as a small boy and followed in his grandfather's footsteps from an early stage in his life. This is how the long-time blacksmith became the teacher of his inexperienced but extremely ambitious grandson, who has now been designing and manufacturing knives full-time for many years.

The front-loaded blade of the solid survival knife has two different sharpening levels and is ideal for chopping, cutting, scraping, digging and levering. The optimum balance of the blade thickness and length, as well as the ergonomic shape of the finely textured Micarta handle scales, allow fatigue-free working.

Supplied with belt adapter and precisely fitting Kydex sheath, the decorative hollow brass rivet also serves as a lanyard hole.

    Boker mini plus tracker

Fantastic knife for the money. The only negative thing is how tight the knife is in the sheath. Takes quite a bit of force to get it out.

    New knife

Another impulse purchase and no regrets on buying the knife. I was very happy with the way the knife was packaged and looks great! A belt clip came with it which was easy to assemble to the sheath and looks fantastic.

    Bware the tang

Posted by Barry Walker on 11th Mar 2021

This is a nice hefty sharp knife. Comes in a nice box, but not sure why as that will end up in the bin. Boker, ditch the box and make the knife cheaper. The big issue with this knife is while it looks like a hefty full tang, it is actually a skeletal tang which can break under hard use. For lightish bushcraft and camping you'll be fine, but I would not do any major chopping with it.

    Boket Mini Tracker

Wow. Superb service from they guys at HH who again have out done themselves. Thanks guys. The knife is lovely and fits my hand perfectly. A great price for this blade considering other trackers are a few hundred quid so this is a great starting point. Comes in great box but Shane really as will just get recycled. The blade is hair shaving sharp and after a little getting used to easy to use with feathering slicing chopping etc. However I would not use to chop too hard a wood or use to Batton ad the handle is a skeleton tang and not solid and saw a video of a guy not excessively bat toning but the metal broke so be a little careful but for 60!quid you can’t go wrong. All in all a great strarter blade and great fun

    Boker mini tracker

Posted by Richard on 31st Oct 2020

WOW.. this is a wonderful addition to my kit. Have been looking for a tracker for a little while but cannot justify spending over £200 on a Tom Brown especially if I found I did not like. For this wonderfully priced inexpensive knife I thought you can’t go wrong and how true. It arrived in a lovely presentation box which I doubt will keep as not required and the quality is superb it’s a stunning blade very sharp very well made and put together with a nice weight and will definitely take a hammering as it’s a nice thick spine Only thing I’m not keen on is the kydex sheath. It’s a good one but I would just prefer a leather or nylon option hence the 4 stars not the full on 5 which this knife deserved I promise you cannot go wrong with this and as usual a FANTASTIC service from the HH team who just surpass all expectations Go on spend the cash and enjoy a great tool

    Mini tracker

Really liking this knife, seems like a really functional tool. Used it doing some minor bushcraft with the kids in the new forest and it handled superbly. Cut what I needed it to and kept its edge.
