The classic Boker Barlow with its characteristic bolsters made of nickel silver is equipped here with a comparatively narrow blade made of non-stainless C75, which has outstanding cutting durability and easy re-sharpening. The blade has a dark acid-wash finish, is opened with two hands by nail nick and does not lock making it UK carry.

In this, the Boker Barlow Oak Tree, the high-quality handle scales are made of dark bog oak wood and thus form a beautiful contrast to the bolster. On the one hand, this handy pocket knife is a small companion that is absolutely suitable for the trouser pocket, but on the other hand it is also big enough to handle almost all cutting jobs in everyday life without any problems. A beautiful EDC

This is one lovely, classic, traditional knife, beautifully finished and promising the very sharpest of blades in carbon steel. If most of your knives are stainless (mine are), then resolve to add at least one carbon steel blade to your collection - a completely different animal, and a link to the blades our forebears used. This is as good as anything at the price. Classy indeed.

This Barlow not up to usual Boker standard.

Received promptly as usual from HH but the packaging and box were badly damaged in the post. The knife itself was in poor condition also with an uneven and dented wooden scale on one side. The bottom pins were also slightly raised, unlike my other Boker knives which are almost perfect. Regrettably, I had no alternative other than to return it to HH.

I’ve been looking at this one for months and finally went for it - big thanks to Paddy for his You Tube review for tipping the balance! A beautiful little knife to carry, comfortable in the hand and sharper than a mother in law’s tongue out of the box. Very slick service from HH as always.

Perfect Biker specimen, as described, needed honing and I have removed the acid wash coating from the blade personal choice..

I promised myself one quality knife and finally decided to plump for the Boker Barlow Oak Tree - I'm not disappointed, this knife is small, very well built and solid. It's set off with the carbon steel blade (not shiny stainless steel) and is a nice looking, understated piece of equipment. Would recommend.
