The Black Fox Bean Gen 2 is a Serge Panchenko design for Black Fox knives. Available in three handle materials; Zebra wood, stainless steel and G10, this is a UK friendly carry pocket knife of superb quality and innovation.

The excellent functionality of the flat stainless steel slipjoint is packaged in a reduced design with clear lines. The modified sheepsfoot blade of 440C has an oval thumb hole for easy opening and a pocket clip on the back (tip-up) adds to the knife's practical functionality.

What is even more impressive is the low price for a knife of such excellent quality.

    Great while it lasted

Posted by John on 6th Oct 2022

Was very pleased with this for over 3 years, but the mechanism that holds the blade when open has failed leaving a floppy and unsafe feeling tool. I wouldn’t mind so much if that was 3 years of hard use but it really wasn’t, it was just on my desk and used for opening parcels and cutting tape on boxes

    Compact & Sharp

Posted by Pietro Motta on 17th May 2022

Great knife, small enough when folded to slice into my jeans pocket using the inbuilt clip. Easy to open single handedly with a thumb, mine arrived with a good edge so sharp enough out of the very stylish box.I chose this one primarily due to it's use of 440 steel. Highly recommended

    Awesome!

Posted by Davey on 28th Apr 2022

Been searching for a decent edc for a while now. Something that can open packaging, snip threads, cut up fruit..... that kinda thing, yes I've got a SaK but who doesn't? I've got a fallkniven ltc that I can't open because I bite my nails..... my search was getting frustrating until I stumbled upon this baby. After reading other reviews I thought F it, why not. Clicked buy and haven't looked back. It's an absolute belter of a knife for the price. People reckon it'll close on your fingers but realistically only if your cutting at a wierd angle, sawing back and forth or stabbing something. Overall I love this little knife and wouldnt hesitate to buy another, but don't think I will need to as this feels built to last. Heinnie? Awesome as usual.

    da knife

Posted by Taylor Graham on 22nd Mar 2022

It's a good, reliable, durable knife that you can operate one handed and is legal to carry for no other reason than because you want to. I can tell this knife will last a long time and when it does eventually break I know that it's serviceable and repairable. Just an all round great knife.

    Like it a lot

Posted by Derek W. on 21st Mar 2022

The green micarta version has been in my pocket for a few weeks now. I have cut paper, card, string, apples, opened mail and used it for several other daily tasks. It was sharp out of the box and has remained that way. I've bought three others to give to grandchildren (to be used under the supervision of their parents and with their permission, of course) as part of an Easter treasure hunt. I'm sure they'll be as happy as I am with them.

    Great small edc knife

Posted by Richard Jones on 19th Mar 2022

Liked this so much bought the G10, Steel and Micarta. Great fidget factor love opening and closing it. Really nice action and solid build quality. Not for hard use, but great little edc, nice and discreet. Thanks HH for a great service as always.

    Almost perfect

Posted by Nick Hole on 20th Jan 2022

Love this little fella. Went for the zebra wood version. Lovely design, nothing else like it. Fits perfectly in the 5th pocket. Very well made, blade perfectly central and sharp enough for this kind of knife. Only negative I have is that the locking system could be a bit stiffer as blade will break its open position quite easily. However that won't put me off collecting the rest of them. I'd say it's worth the money. Give it a spring lock to keep it uk legal, some better blade steel and black fox would have something rather special in there hands. But for now it's great and I loves it!
