Folds down small.works well great for carrying when you have a keyring or small pocket on your jacket

It stays on my keys which are always with me so I have a pen always with me, bonus it extends so easier to use. brilliantly simple idea

Great idea, poorly realised

I've gone through two of these. I liked the design enough that after the first one broke, I bought a second in case it was just a manufacturing defect. Unfortunately, the second failed just like the first - The problem is primarily with the cap on the nib end, which is press-fit into the body. The cap magnet isn't that strong, but it's enough that repeated use will work the nib cap loose and eventually just pop it out... at which point it's pretty useless. In both cases, it took less than a month of use, just twice a day to sign in and out of work. That's the only use it saw, but even that light load just killed this thing. If I'm being picky, the design would have worked better having the nib at the thinner end, as the one they chose is just a bit too thick for a comfortable hold compared to normal fountain pens. I gave up and bought the Fisher Space Pen - I found there's a good reason why that is an EDC favourite and this True Utility one is resigned to the bargain bin of cheap camping shops!
