Tops BB Cutter

A little update to my last review, I have had to file off the sharp point on the edge at the finger choil as it gave me a nasty cut and I have removed the spring clip on the back. This gives me more room in the front pocket of my SXB. Still a 5 star knife.

Top quality buddy knife, fits into the Tops SXB sheath front pocket. Very sharp sturdy knife, fits the hand better than the Tops MSK 2.5. I just love this little gem of a knife.

I bought this on a rare shopping trip and have found it to be absolutely indestructible. I collect little fixed blades in large numbers but very few have this level of usability, especially when wearing gloves. The coating is also super durable and mine was sharp enough to use OTB, it isn't a scalpel but it puts up with way more abuse than a thin razor sharp blade could.

Not sure why the forums say it comes blunt! More than happy with out the box sharpness! My top tip with this one is remove the pocket clip, put some paracord on the end and use that to remove the blade , works perfectly. Tie that off your jeans and you have a lovely static line so you don't lose the sheath. This thing is a TANK!

what a tool! i have nothing but praise for this tool and for the company Henny Haynes. My first experience of both and from what I can see I have become a convert. Tops is the brand for me,a nd Henry Haye's is the shop of choice. If Henny's made lager...

I've had my BB for a few years now and it arrived ridiculously blunt and unevenly ground. And this is not my first bad experience with TOPS Knives. I did try contacting them directly at the time and when they thought I might buy something, they showed interest, but when I explained that I was disappointed with the quality of their BB Cutter, they ceased responding. It's a real shame as the shape of the knife and material used are decent (but only decent) and it's very frustrating that a company who claim to be suppliers to the military are allowing such bad products to leave their factory. In my experience TOPS Knives are overpriced considering the materials used. Their QC is non-existent and as a company they don't give a toss as long as they get your hard earned cash. Your experience may differ, but for me TOPS knives don't exist. Have a nice day! :-)
