    Quite nice

Posted by Gareth on 2nd May 2020

OK, first thing is to look at how much this costs.
You're getting a *titanium* framed *Damascus* blade for less than £20
Don't expect a well polished jewel that everyone is going to fawn over!
That being said, it is a nice little knife. The Damascus pattern looks nice and while you can feel the ridges if you run your fingernail over them they're certainly not pronounced enough to feel with your fingertips.
The locking mechanism is very secure and indents to the centre of the blade.
The blade itself came shaving sharp but isn't a one hand deploy, which means this won't be replacing my Whitby Titan.
The frame is very tactile with no sharp edges - I wish they'd patterned it on both sides. The screws aren't flush but I think that would be quite difficult with such a slim handle.
I removed the attached keyring immediately as it interferes with the blade closing.

    Look at the price!

Well i rang up friday and spoke to Nick from HH and ordered this today it arrived next day great service guys cheers, im over moon with it what a lovely gem of a knife a small gentleman,s folder in damascus action is smooth and razor sharp out of box, for the price its a steal what a combination titanium and damascus and the blue hardware sets it right off.

No excuse to not have one

Posted by Jimilybob on 22nd Dec 2019

This is a wonderful addition to anyone's keys.( I have 3 one for each set of keys)
Yes it may have raised screw heads and ridges on the blade from the Damascus etching but what is it for!

It sits on your keys to look good and maybe open a box or envelope or cut off a thread end That's about it.

For £16.95 you will not be disappointed and if you are then maybe you should look at a bigger knife.

Heinnie customer service as per usual was impeccable.

    Exceptional for the money

This is a great little knife. Nice design. Nice feel. I have already bought another 2 to keep my jealous brothers happy.

    Poor quality even for £16

Posted by Mike on 24th Oct 2019

The blade is reasonably sharp. However, every part of the knife feels poor quality. The screws aren't countersunk properly so rise up above the scales.

The lock isn't smooth so sometimes fails to lock properly(I'm going to have a go with a file to see if I can solve this) and the damascus blade has ridges where the metal is folded in it's production.

I know it's cheap but I'm surprised HH stocked it.

Cute size and pretty much perfect

Posted by Mark b on 14th Oct 2019

I ordered this little folder to add to my miniature knives box, as it looked nice and the price was
very acceptable. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and ability to cut.

So if you want Damascus and titanium for under twenty quid buy one, would also make a perfect gift.

But it has a locking blade so NOT EDC under our current bonkers laws.

    A steal

Posted by John E on 14th Oct 2019

What can you say -£16.95 for a damascus (san mai) and titanium folder! Ok I know it's made in China but don't let that put you off, there are some great knives with high QC coming from China these days.
Fabulous little knife with the san mai blade. Quality all round very good. Genuinely makes you wonder why you spend (yes I do too) £100 / £200 on some higher end knives with not a lot higher quality than this -
(Heinnie still the best service I've come accross on the internet too)

Fancy 3 finger folder for the price

Posted by Parbajtor on 12th Jun 2019

This is ideal as a 3 finger knife, marginally bigger than a Spyderco Grasshopper. Quality not bad. Sharp OTB. Action is not as smooth as a grasshopper but not too bad. And it's a Damascus san mai blade. Good value for the price. Screws are a little proud of the surface but not uncomfortably so. Blade was perfectly centred when closed. It's a framelock so not UK EDC. One for your tiny knife collection or a very upmarket box cutter. It definitiely looks more expensive than it is.
