Produced in small, carefully controlled batches, selvedge denim has a tighter, denser weave than regular denim. Its clean-finished edges create an iconic look. Prized for its character and heritage, the fit of high quality selvedge can be customised to your body using traditional denim care and fit techniques.
Kuroki Mills has been weaving denim in Japan since 1960. The family owned mill is located in Okayama Prefecture, where they rope dye, weave and process selvedge denim with otaku-care. The 13 oz denim utilised for this special project has a black warp and black weft, embracing a relentless minimalism that would not be out of place at any point in the last century.
With increasing frequency, today's missions require blending in across diverse environments. TAD's Intercept pant was built to help you prevail without standing out. Combining a classic silhouette with engineered functionality, the TAD Foundry Intercept SD Kuroki Trouser lies in the grey zone between performance and style, keeping you below the radar and in control.
Traditional 5-pocket silhouette with modernised lines, shank button fly, and industrial detailing.
Concealed pockets on the yoke can secure your phone or a spare magazine comfortably, even when seated. Carefully spaced, wide belt loops balance and distribute the weight of belt-mounted gear around the entire waistline.
Hidden triple needle stitching on the in and out seam, flat felled back rise, and a reinforced cuff provide lasting durability. Bartacks secure all critical attachment points, and TAD diamond reinforcements protect pockets from premature wear from knife or tool clips.
