Molon labe meaning "come and take them", is a classical expression of defiance. When the Persian armies demanded that the Greeks surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae, the Spartan King Leonidas I responded with this phrase.

Mark Stotesbury is a designer based in South Africa who hand carves his masters into wax before transferring them in resin moulds which then progress into rubber spin cast moulds. His designs are cast in zinc and then electroplated in Antique Copper and Antique Pewter which gives them an aged finish. With a 5mm hole each of these beads will take 550 paracord with a turks head knots inside.

Dimensions - 2.25 x 2.25 cm

    Nice.

Nice wee thing but not really a bead in my opinion. More of a button. Trying to think of an item of clothing I could sew it onto rather the use on a paracord lanyard as was intended.
