Willem Steenkamp has been a member of the Knifemakers’ Guild of Southern Africa since 2007. It is an association with the most stringent criteria of acceptance. It's members therefore have to achieve levels of quality and precision craftsmanship before they can be considered for membership.
This exquisite little UK carry folder has an M390 stainless steel blade with a Wharncliff style blade. The tolerances are such that the blade snaps open and closed and has a good degree of resistance in the open position. The handle is a real tour de force of the knife makers craft. It features two scales x cut Micarta with a carbon fibre bolsters and red liners. There is also a carbon fibre shield inlay.
