It attaches to your keychain and is nearly as small as your car keys. One of Spyderco’s smallest lightweight knives is the Ladybug.

Made of VG-10 stainless steel, the hollow ground blade comes in a PlainEdge configuration. This modified clip-point blade style is matched up with a purple, lightweight handle of fiberglass-reinforced nylon making the entire knife weigh only 0.6 of an ounce (16.4 grams). The Ladybug doesn’t have a clip but rather a lanyard hole for attachment to a keychain or lanyard.

Like its larger counterparts (and all Spyderco knives) the Ladybug3 packs tremendous cutting power and can take on both fine and heavy cutting tasks.

Good but needs to be cheaper better knives at same price point £45 I would say it's worth

Love the purple

I like the little ladybug a lot, but it only really gets use around the house because of the lock. Would be ideal if it was available as a slipjoint as I love the purple.

Ideal kering knife....

... if you have an excuse ready. Extremely sharp and handles exceptionally well, not only for it's proportions but comparable to any knife. Snicks through paracord as if it isn't even there. A top-notch piece of Japanese steel in an astonishing featherweight presentation. All the knife you need, it could skin a pig or open mail with equal aplomb. This little tool is a 21st century miracle, a classic, and a work of genius. Prepare to be amazed. It might seem expensive, say for instance a day's wages. Right then, in a day - a day! - find some iron ore, build a forge, smelt it, make steel, forge a blade, temper, grind, polish and sharpen, make some plastic handles having built an oil refinery and become a chemist, and then rivet the lot together. Cheap, isn't it?

Better than I expected.

Knife is great (well it's a spyderco) , a slipjoint option would be nice for UK. Now for the real reason for this review. Ordered Friday at16.48, dispatched Friday at 16.58, through the letterbox Saturday morning. Thanks for the best service ever.

Not great value for money

This little knife is fairly well made and comes with a good blade steel. But it has some issues ive never come across with any other Spyderco knives I have owned. First off, the edge on this knife is slightly hit and miss, but none the less is still razor sharp, just a little visually displeasing. The Spyderco opening hole is also an issue as it is badly drilled out, but still effective. The handles on this knife are fine, but are maybe a bit too cheap feeling for the price you pay, and although good looking, they feel cheap. Apart from these issues it's really a great little knife, one I carry when I need a good concealable blade. But for the money, you can get a lot better value for money.

Purple Ladybug - plain edge

Very nice little Spyderco. I bought one for my daughter a special order from HH. These are mini-Delicas in effect. They are strong, small and very well made. £30 is a lot for a keyring knife, but it is a proper Spyderco folding knife. Purple is cool too. VG10 is a very good knife steel too.
