Excellent sheath and blade but a pitty it has plastic scales which i will renew wwith nice wooden ones

Overall I'm happy with this knife, but as with other reviews I've seen, the handle scales are only cheap plastic. Shame really as the blade and the sheath are fantastic for the price. As standard, amazing service and delivery from Heinnie.

Just received this so this is just an initial thoughts more than a review. I really like the blade shape(bowie), size & thickness(not too thick or too thin, just right for me). Also like the overall look of it. For the money it's a lovely allround knife. Quite sharp, sharp enough otb. Sheath smells like real leather & is very nice. The only small negative for me is the scales. They feel like a very light, too light kinda plastic. Would've easily been 5 stars if the scales were of a denser material like wood or just a heavier plastic. When I flick the scales the feedback I get is like if you flicked a little child's small, cheap plastic toy. However I hope & they probably are more hard-wearing than they seem. Balance is OK & handle is comfy enough. I don't have huge hands but my glove size is either L or XL. Overall I'm very happy with it.
