The Schrade Extreme Survival is a full tang fixed blade with a heavyweight feel and quite awesome capabilities. The blade is black coated, 8Cr13MoV high carbon, stainless steel with a 6mm thick back spine. It is one hefty tool!
The handle is ergonomic ring textured TPE that has a rubbery feel, making for a very secure comfortable grip, even in the cold and wet. There is a lanyard hole to make your knife your own and it is supplied with a nylon belt sheath.
