    Great Pen!

This is a great pen with fiddle factor. I've used it daily for over a year now. Be careful of refills though. Although any Parker style G2 refill should fit, the Fisher Space Pen refill is slightly too wide at the tip to fit the hole. I'll continue to search for a better refill than the schmidt, which has started leaking from the ball.

Nice pen to carry / use

Relatively light though sturdy pen, smooth operation, size is good for writing and alternative use as/where/when necessary

    Light, high quality, safety pen.

This is a really nice pen. Solid titanium. It is not quite as long as some pens, while having plenty enough length and since it is lightweight yet STRONG, it makes a perfect EDC pen. It comes with a rather nice presentation box and it would make a stunning gift for someone. This is my favourite pen now. The bolt action is not too hard and is easy on your thumbs. Really impressed.

Compares well with other titanium pens

If you're thinking of buying a titanium pen, you won't go far wrong with this one. The RovyVon Commander C10 is a high quality ball point pen. I bought the sand-blasted version. Considering the strength of this pen, it is very light at 41g. It's only 2g lighter than the titanium Boker Plus KID Cal 050, but somehow it feels quite a bit lighter and slimmer. I'm sure it is a tough pen, being titanium, but it doesn't immediately feel as indestructible as the chunkier Boker Plus. The bolt action of the RovyVon is smoother than the Boker Plus. The spring is lighter, and the bolt action is much easier on the thumb. But most significantly for me, the bolt mechanism is in a much better position than the Boker Plus - around 90 degrees from the pocket clip - which means that it doesn't interfere with other items in your pocket. (The bolt mechanism of the Boker Plus is directly opposite the pocket clip, which means that if you keep the Poker Plus in your shirt pocket with your phone, the screen is likely to be damaged by the tip of the bolt.) As expected, the bottom section of the pen unscrews to access the refill. There is a small white o-ring on this thread - presumably intended to reduce the risk of the tip unscrewing accidentally. It's too soon to say whether it achieves this aim, but it feels too thin to me. I don't feel any resistance caused by the o-ring when screwing the two sections of the pen together. The pocket clip is secured with a small star-shaped screw. The clip fits into a small recess in the body of the pen which prevents the clip from swinging around, and also means that only one screw is needed to hold it in place. As a result, you're unlikely to use this pen without the pocket clip attached, unless you don't mind the empty recess on the side. Aesthetically, the only disappointing feature of this pen is that the sandblasted finish of the bottom section of the pen does not match that of the main body of the pen. It looks as though the two sections of the body of the pen were sandblasted separately. The sandblasting is not as noticeable on the bottom section as it is on the main body. The difference is more noticeable in some lighting conditions, and the effect is not bad enough to reduce the overall 5 star rating. The balance of the pen is good. It feels comfortable in the hand, and the grooves on the body of the pen (annular and lengthwise) make it easy to grip. Overall, it gives the impression of being a more civilised writing implement than the Boker Plus KID Cal 050. The RovyVon Commander comes in a seriously over-engineered box. I'm sure I'll find a use for the box, but I won't be keeping the pen in it. After all, what's the point of buying one of the most indestructible pens on the planet, made from one of the most durable materials around, if you're going to store it in a strong waterproof box like this?
