The Rough Rider Classic Folding Hunter G10 features a handsome two tone handle made from four pieces of tough G10. The green sections are inserted into the brown which forms the bolsters and the liners. A brass centre liner and stainless backspine form the rest of the knife. There are two blades; one clip and one drop point both made from 440 stainless steel. This is a quality knife at an affordable price.

I bought this to go with the Stockman that I already have, sadly I didn't realise how big this one is. Blades are about 3 6/8 so not UK legal, I'm still undecided whether to keep it or no. It's a great, well made knife, good strong back spring and half stops, I love the knife except for the size but I have a couple of dozen knives that aren't UK EDC's so I'll end up keeping it :)

Light weight big slipjoint

I have a very similar knife under Marbles branding (but looking like out of the same Chinese factory) in traditional style and it is very chunky and solid. The RR G10 would be the cross-over between that Marbles and a Spyderco: the scales are G10 and also act as the liners. It makes for a surprisingly light package for a knife in that traditional style. Blades came sharp out of the box, as with almost all my RR.

This a well made and handsome knife. the fit & finish is spot-on and it's very comfortable in the hand. The 440 blade steel is probably only 440A, so it's nothing special, but it's adequate and the knife came very sharp. One caveat though....if you buy this knife check the torx screws are all tight - one has dropped out of my knife already! Great service as always from HH.
