QSP Falcon

QSP are known for their high quality working knives at extremely competitive prices. Their higher end pieces, like this impressive looking Falcon, are just as focused on precision manufacture and unparalleled quality.

The blade is a pleasing reverse tanto shape made from S35VN stainless steel (one of the best). It has a nail nick for opening and uses a non-locking slip joint mechanism so is pretty much safe to carry anywhere, obviously at the owners discretion.

The handle is what really sets it apart though. The inlays are sculpted carbon fibre with two Titanium bolsters. This knife is supplied with a very nice leather belt pouch.

    Qsp falcon review

Really nice knife, was sharp out the box as you'd expect, blade centering was bang on, no gapping. Excellent quality. Keeps a wicked edge and comes with a really nice cerry stained lether pouch. Would recomend it. Very nice.

    Another Stunner from HH

Posted by Sharif Radwan on 19th Oct 2022

Where do I start? OK, QSP is a Chinese outfit, please don’t let the naysayers of you be put off, the only other knives that I *might* compare or prefer to them in this category are the knife makers around the Maniago, are in Italy. It’s not only the quality, but the beauty of their products, I can not find another knife that has the slabs as gorgeous as these, and that’s just taking about the aesthetics of the item, not even going into how well the knife is made. Worth more than the £££ you are paying. Yet another lovely item from the great guys and gals. from HH. When I'm down, I come on here and browse their lovely items, and end up buying one (or 10) of their gorgeous items, safe in the knowledge I'm buying the best, from the best, with the BEST service you can find online. I should know, I've been a customer I think for over 10 years now :)

If there were 6 Stars it Would Have 6

I'm not going to say anything other than I love this knife to bits, to me it beats the likes of MKM, Viper, Zero Tolerance (UK Friendly versions), even Fallkniven, it's a beauty. I'm struggling to find as knife even to be a backup to it, I'm just smitten by it. And of course there is no need to mention the absoluvetl astounding and flawless HH service with putting up with me, buying, and returning, then buying and returning, to find my perfect knife, thank you HH :)

    QSP Falcon

Posted by Dragonphotographic on 6th Jan 2021

The QSP Falcon is a UK friendly slip joint folder. It is not possible to open with one hand, so it should be fine in places like Norway too. (Caveat, always know the up to date local regulations when you plan to carry any sort of sharp tool) It is a very modern knife with what the Chinese manufacturer calls a reverse tanto style blade in advanced S35vn stainless steel. It is available in two varieties, Damascus, or Satin finished for an extra tenner . I opted for the satin (£154.95 total from HH in the UK). The chassis is titanium and the hinge pin has a custom triangular patterned head on one side. Inset to the chassis on both sides to form scale inserts is a swirl patterned carbon fibre slice. A lanyard hole completes the ensemble. The whole effect is quite sci-fi. The fit and finish is absolutely first class with a perfectly centred blade and no play in any of the joints. The action is smooth but very firm, giving confidence that you are unlikely to shut the super sharp blade on yourself by accident. For a discreet carry and rounding out an excellent package, it also arrives with a quality stitched leather slip, wich has options for either horizontal or vertical attachment to a belt. If you are the sort of person who loves to put together EDC combos of Titanium and then fantasises about cabon fibre, this may very well be the sharp pointy tool for you.

    Quality slipjoint

    Posted by MHV68 on 21st Jul 2020

Initial impressions are very positive. The knife looks and feels great and the fit and finish is very good relevant to the price. The walk and talk is very smooth with a stop at 90 degrees (not as hard as Lionsteel Bestman). Overall, good classy slipjoint with an interesting blade shape.
