QSP are known for their high quality working knives at extremely competitive prices. Their higher end pieces, like this impressive looking Falcon, are just as focused on precision manufacture and unparalleled quality.

The blade is a pleasing reverse tanto shape made from Damascus steel. It has a nail nick for opening and uses a non-locking slip joint mechanism so is pretty much safe to carry anywhere, obviously at the owners discretion.

The handle in combination with the stunning blade is what really sets it apart. The inlays are sculpted carbon fibre with two Titanium bolsters. This knife is supplied with a very nice leather belt pouch.

    Stunning knife

Posted by Chris Inston on 15th Apr 2021

This is a lovely knife. The fit and finish on mine was spot on. No blade play whatsoever and the blade was centred near as damn it perfect.. The carbon fibre is really unusual and goes well with the laminate Damascus. The size of the knife feels big for a UK legal knife, which I like as it feels good iand doesn’t get lost in my large hands unlike a lot of other ones. The only downside is the blade spine which has been ground and polished, you can just see the vg10 core in the right light. The sheath is not as bulky as I thought it would be and is comfortable in scout carry. The sheath also covers the knife so no one can tell what is in it.. All in all, I am very impressed. This is an excellent knife that would be a lot more in price if it was from an American manufacturer.. Also it came with Heinnie Haynes more than excellent service . Very happy, thanks.

    Big knife

Posted by Chris on 11th Jul 2020

This knife feels a lot bigger in my hand than my other U.K. legal knives.the Damascus is a beautiful looking blade and matches the carbon fibre scales perfectly.i brought this knife thinking it would be a nice piece for my collection but soon realised that it is a fantastic looking work horse and it has found its way into my edc rotation.fit and finish is a damn near perfect on my knife and my only reservation was the sheath that seems a little bit too heavy duty at first but after carrying it horizontally on my belt for a few days I now think it’s my favourite kind of low profile carry, even with just jeans an a tee shirt.it just disappears and even if a glimpse of it does show a nkp wouldn’t even guess it was a knife as the the knife itself is completely enclosed in it. My only complaint is that the Damascus has been polished out on the spine so it looks as if it it just etched on to the blade. IMO you would have to pay a lot more to get a knife that’s a just little bit better.

    Sadly.....No. Nearly, but no.

This knife is so close to being wonderful. But sadly i just can't say it is. I've given it 4 stars but i really want to give it 3.5 1. The centering was about 60/40. 2. Slight blade play 3. A couple of small voids and splits on an admittingly very lovely patterned carbon fibre 4. Not easy to disassemble ( i was scared of damaging knife and gave up) I didnt take it apart totally as it meant some pressure needed. But i did see some horrible plastic washer/collet/insert...whatever you call it, at the pivot. It was already shredding slightly which makes me wonder how long it will last after repeated opening and closing. 5. The worst part of all...….the Damascus pattern does not go over the spine of the blade. Its been ground away. It just looks ….. wrong. This is a £145 knife. These admittingly small complaints should not arise. For £50 less you can buy an ATS JE Made knife which is practically faultless. The worst thing is the sheath. Looks very nice, but the stitching had started to come apart at the top. Very slight pulling to check how bad it was and it unravelled an inch. On the good side. It is a lovely looking knife and you can see they tried to make it really well. Just sadly failed. It was sharp out of the box and its very comfortable, fitting the hand nicely. I really should return it, as for the money it cost i'm really not happy with it. But sadly i have had to return a couple badly finished knives recently and dont want to have to do it again. I'm afraid this is one of those knives you throw in a cupboard and try to forget about.....thats what i am going to do when i've finished writing this. I hasten to add that Heinnie posted this super quick and i recieved it the morning after ordering it, and i know that i would have no problem sending back...…...i'd just feel bad about doing so.
