Based on the well-known MK-8, designer Dietmar Pohl developed the Pohl Force Tactical Eight. Reduced in weight and more compact in dimensions, the Tactical Eight is nevertheless a full-fledged and versatile knife for professional users.
The robust 17.4cm long and 6mm thick Bowie blade is suitable for a wide range of applications. For a high edge retention and resilience of the blade, the choice fell on the well-known D2 tool steel. The stonewashed finish creates a scratch-resistant surface and also increases the blade's resistance to corrosion. The massive and fully hardened full tang carries the handle scales made of resistant black G-10. An elaborate three-dimensional milled surface offers the Tactical Eight an excellent and secure grip. The pronounced and rounded finger recess in front of the guard allows the knife to reach forward for powerful or fine work. A concealed hole at the end of the handle offers the option of mounting a lanyard (included).
The Kydex sheath of the Tactical Eight is equipped with the tried and tested removable belt adapter. Extremely robust nylon and Kydex provide the basis for a well thought-out and resilient carrying system that fully meets the high demands placed on a tactical knife in practice. The Kydex sheath of the Tactical Eight is also equipped with a special insert to reduce the mechanical influence on the blade finish and thus the formation of scratches.
This version has a black blade with a black kydex sheath.
