The Nitecore EC11 measures only 7.5cm and has a blistering output of 900 lumens when used with an IMR 18350 battery. Featuring a Cree XM-L2 (U2) LED housed inside a highly polished reflector, giving a range of up to 190 meters! Offering outputs in both white and red, together with three special modes, giving you complete peace of mind when coping with the unexpected.

A unique feature of the EC11 is the ability to run on IMR 18350, which unlock the full potential of this little light at 900 lumens. It can also be powered by primary CR123A batteries, which have a shelf life of up to 10 years, making for a great backup power source. Maximum output is reduced to 430 lumens when used with CR123A batteries.

In addition to the main white beam there is a secondary low level red light that can be used to preserve night vision. When in standby mode the red LED flashes once every three seconds to help locate the flashlight in the dark. When the tail cap is installed after changing batteries the red LED will flash to indicate the battery voltage (accurate to 0.1V - patented) making the EAC1 a portable multi-meter!

Two lockout modes to prevent accidental operation: With the light turned on press and hold both switches for over one second to enter lockout mode, alternatively simply loosen the tail cap to cut off power entirely (recommended when storing for long periods).

Operated by a dual side switch for easy one handed use and direct access to turbo and ultra-low modes:

Output / Runtime Using IMR 18350

  • Turbo: 900 Lumens - 30 Minute Runtime

  • High: 300 Lumens / 45 Minute Runtime

  • Medium: 160 Lumens / 1.5 Hour Runtime

  • Low: 70 Lumens / 2.5 Hour Runtime

  • Lower: 1 Lumen / 12 hour Runtime

Output / Runtime Using CR123A

  • Turbo: 430 Lumens / 45 Minute Runtime

  • High: 230 Lumens / 1.5 Hour Runtime

  • Medium: 100 Lumens / 3 Hour Runtime

  • Low: 40 Lumens / 8.5 Hour Runtime

  • Lower: 1 Lumen / 20 Hour Runtime

An additional three concealed special modes are available for emergency situations: Strobe, SOS and Location Beacon.

Beam distance up to 190 metres, waterproof to IPX - 8 (2 metres submersible), & impact resistant to drops from 1.5 metres.

Includes: Pocket clip, holster, lanyard, spare o ring, CR123 battery magazine. Battery not included.

    Neat and versatile.

I've had this as my EDC for nearly two years. My only difficulty with it is remembering which button and in which order to get the desired light and output. Maybe it's a function of age, mine not the light! Compared to the MecArmy PT16 which has slightly better run times it's only slightly longer but slimmer and cheaper, comes with a holster and clip and appears to be as bright. It also has a longer throw and an additional step in its white light output. It's the UI that gets me.
