The Mora Bushcraft knife is constructed with a bright orange handle and sheath which (should) keep you from losing your knife.

The 3mm thick stainless steel blade is not profile-ground, which means that the knife is heavier and more robust than a Scandi-ground knife.

The blade is ridgeground especially for use with a fire steel, which is available separately.

    exception comfort

Posted by keefo on 27th Sep 2019

I usually use the companion knife but was interested in trying the bush craft version. the thing that hits you the most is how comfortable the handle is with its cut outs and sublime fit in the hand, the blade is thicker than the companion and they had the sense to leave the spine rough ground for use with a fire steel. the only thing I don't like is the weird belt clip which is removable and I think not something that is needed. I would recommend anyone who likes mora to try one of these and feel the difference it makes to your day.

    Update

Still staggeringly good, I modified mine by tying a loop of orange 550 around the sheath and through the belt loop so it dangles as a necker. (Several users have commented on the rotating belt loop failing and losing their knives). I previously suggested using this with a Martindale Golok- those are now made in Thailand so get a Condor Bushcraft Parang instead! MUCH better quality.

    Amazing little knife

Posted by PJ on 22nd Feb 2015

I've got several Busse and Bark River knives (they are all VERY good) and I went out and got into Mora's... I bought this because I wanted a tough, lightweight hiking EDC that was made of a quality steel (Sandvik 12c27) and didn't break the bank so if it was lost, damaged or seized by customs/police on my travels it wouldn't be like losing my Badger Attack! I can't recommend this knife enough, it feels amazing in hand, the ergonomics are perfect for most practical grips. The steel takes and holds a surgical edge. It weighs so little you forget it but it feels Busse tough... It has a limited lifetime warranty! It's awesome value for money. Paired with a Bahco Laplander saw you can't go far wrong (add a Martindale Golok to cover anything else!). Ray Mears recommends Mora's for a reason. Don't waste your money elsewhere.

    Great, ideal

I've used this for all sorts from fishing to bushcraft, I couldn't rate it any higher. Edge on this is super sharp straight out the box.
