The MKM Cellina Aluminium, designed by Lucas Burnley, is a modern slipjoint, UK friendly carry pocket knife that offers an impressive combination of elegance, versatility and practical functionality. This elegant knife has a powder-metallurgical M390, slimline blade with a thumb hole to aid opening.

Handle scales made from black aluminum highlight the exquisite technical look of this version. The thumb opening and outside lanyard hole as well as the flowing lines of the slender handle are prominent design features. A blue anodized titanium ring around the pivot screw creates a special accent. Lucas Burnley decided not to add a clip to the Cellina. Instead, the knife comes with a brown leather sheath with magnetic belt loop.

    Mkm cellina alluminium

Posted by John Byrne on 23rd Mar 2021

The most expensive knife I have bought up to now no regrets but a few annoying problems with their QC.The opening hole in the superb blade was quite sharp I removed tiny burrs with a small round file took me 3 min . On holding the handle up to the light biade has gaps between scales and back spring also dust and grip trapped in between the gap,not what I would expect for the price.feels very comfy in the hand, open & shut smooth.Very sharp & slicey & very lightweight.Had to fix a lanyard to as loop was sticking in my palm ,I have xl hands lanyard solved that problem.conclusion mkm get your Q.C. in order then this knife would have been perfect .to add the pouch is probably the best I've seen for design & build quality .my experience with mkm has not put me off buying more of there products. I managed to clear the dust out of the handle gap but can't do anything about the gapping.if the problems I've highlited were done at production this knife would be perfect & would be getting 5 srars.

If James Bond had a letter opener...

Gorgeous little knife, ergonomics are good, feels nice, very slicey. No issue with sharpness or grind on mine, seems well put together. It does everything you could need and expect but looks so damn good. The pouch is awesome as the knife has no pocket clip. For the knife guys and girls out there this is for those of you who who like function but style is a must! I think it’s another thing I own that is substantially cooler and way more stylish than me.

Grwat design, poor fit and finish

Posted by Davy on 23rd May 2020

Lovely design for a knife and the leather slip is great, especially for carrying a knife while stuck in the house during lockdown with no belt on. Missed a trick not making it one hand opening, which would only have needed a minor alteration to the hole and backspring I'd guess. Sadly, quality control at the factory was clearly lacking. Edges not chamfered so the hole isn't comfortable to use and the screws were loose so I almost lost one on day one. Worse still, the factory grind was terrible, uneven to such an extent that it has no tip.
