    A must have

Posted by The Nugget on 17th Nov 2017

Although these are somewhat overpriced... I have not regretted buying mine. It is a large sized and incredibly sharp utility knife. Very easy to keep sharp with just a budget pocket diamond hone. My most used knife at my desk and worktop but not suitable for heavy use. The build quality is so-so but this is , after all, a sort of slightly upmarket Stanley knife...not an object to be revered. The blade, however, is quite the nicest bit of carbon steel I possess. Buy it. Look after it. I have had mine about 3 years now. I would not be without it.

    Odd, but good

Posted by Mick on 19th Feb 2017

I bought this knife because of the old fashioned, some might say odd, design. It is a big folder, quite bulky, definitely not for EDC. The built is quite solid, but it is not a heavy duty knife. The steel is great and, because of the single bevel, easy to maintain. The edge was good out of the box, but after a few minutes on the stone and a number of stropps on the leather, it is SCARY sharp. Easily the sharpest blade in my collection. I love it!

    An old design

Primitive design but very sharp and Very pointy. Also a far older pedigree than most knives. If you are a collector then buy one and look back at its history, fascinating.
