The MecArmy PS16 is an extremely handsome little flashlight with a seriously tough, stonewashed, CNC precision machined stainless steel body. It is equipped with 4 CREE XP-G3 S5 LEDs capable of 2000 lumens in the burst Turbo mode using a 18350 battery (not supplied) plus two lower outputs and a strobe.

It is supplied with a 16340 Li-ion rechargeable battery (supplied) which is charged outside the flashlight via a USB connection and gives a lumen output of 1500. The tail switch is stainless steel too meaning the connection is always certain and the switch will never deteriorate with use. The low riding pocket clip allows secure carry.

A beautifully formed, tough little EDC light

    Superb little flashlight

Posted by Shak on 24th Jul 2019

This is a very nicely crafted flashlight, due to being CNC machined from a lump of steel it has a very nice quality/weighty feel to It. the PS16 produces a very broad beam for it size. It's ridiculously bright with the supplied 16340 battery but when coupled with an 18350 IMR battery to unlock the full potential, it makes my 6 D cell Maglite (upgraded to an LED bulb) look like an old oil lantern in comparison, because the reflectors are very small due to the 4 CREE leds crammed into a tiny space, it doesn't have the same throw as some of the larger cell 18650/26650 flashlights but because of how broad the beam is and the size of the PS16 kind of makes this less important. The pocket clip is among the best I have used on any flashlight I have ever used, it's wide enough to clip onto a belt holding its weight securely, also the end is rounded and angled so to allow it clip on belts on molle webbing easily. The only thing I didn't like about this flash light was the light output selection, it is far to easy to change from low to max power and since being blasted with 2000 lumens of light is never pleasant lol, make sure the leds are facing away from you before turning on, this thing can blind from a 75 degree angle be warned! Thanks again to HH for bringing the finest EDC gear to the UK at reasonable prices!
