Mcusta Knives are true masterpieces combining traditional Japanese elements and craftmanship with modern cutting-edge technology. Mcusta knives feature VG-10 and 33 layer Nickel Damascus with VG-10 core blades and exotic handle materials. Mcusta knives are a synethis of Japanese and Western design elements creating a 'user friendly' pocket knife that is beautiful, unique and functional. Unlike most mass production knives which are die stamped, each component of Mcusta knives is laser cut for the ultimate precision and fit. Every knife is then assembled and hand finished by an experienced craftsman.

The Bamboo is a unique design with many outstanding features and qualities. The blade is VG10 stainless steel and the handle scales are Cocobolo. The bolsters use damascus steel whilst the pocket clip has file work pattern. It is supplied with a nylon sheath.

    Classy reliable A1

What a stunning knife. I love this knife or brand as it feels like a William Henry for a lot less. I love William Henry so this isn't a I'll have one or the other but a guideline on quality. Many thanks HH .

    Keep it HH!

Posted by Singleagain on 25th May 2018

I do hope that HH will indulge me as far as this review is concerned “ but I will entirely understand if they don't. I fell in love with the Mcusta Bamboo after seeing it on the HH website, and watching a couple of YouTube videos. However, one YouTube video showed the knife available with African Ebony scales, rather than the Cocobolo scales shown on the HH website. So I called HH and was told that they could supply the knife with Ebony scales for £272.95, probably within a week or so. Here is a lesson for all knife fans “ if it's not listed on HH's website, this does not mean they can't supply. Just ask. Anyway, whilst browsing the net, I found a US retailer who could supply the knife with Ebony scales for the equivalent of £200.14. Bargain I thought, so I ordered one. I just knew it was going to be to good to be true. Two weeks further on I was still waiting for the knife to be delivered, and then only after having paid a total of £62.89 in various import taxes. So, a two week wait and a saving of just £10.00. In conclusion, don't bother “ just buy from HH as usual. Finally, the Mcusta Bamboo is a truly exquisite knife, and I am very happy to have it sitting alongside the Mcusta Tactility in my collection “ and yes, that WAS bought from HH. I just wish I had bought the Bamboo from them as well! So “ forget any possible minimal saving. Just stay with HH as usual. Good on you guys, and keep up the good work! My next knife will definitely be coming from you.

    Japanese perfection

Posted by BH from BELGIUM on 20th Jun 2014

My first MCUSTA, certainly not the last one... It's just a perfect friendly looking EDC folder. One of the sharpest blades I have used in 25 years of knife collecting. 5 star HH service, as usual.

    Thank you LJ

Posted by MGP on 17th Jan 2014

I was lucky enough to have been bought this by my wife, she chose it, and as is her taste in husbands so is her taste in knives! The photograph really can not encapsulate the true beauty of this piece, it is truly a lovely thing to own and handle, the sort of knife that you would pass down through your family. So a huge thank you to my wife LJ, and to HH for their faultless service.

    FLAWLESS

Posted by Michael Southworth on 10th Apr 2012

This is one of the finest knives I have ever handled, and I have seen plenty of custom knives as well as all the high-end production makers Chris Reeve, Strider, Microtech and Rockstead. Such a gorgeous knife I can not find a single imperfection, my first Mcusta and it won't be my last one. If you are looking for a Gentlemen style knife look no further.
