    A lot of knife

Posted by Colin on 18th Aug 2017

I usually only buy traditional folding knives..I ordered this item out of curiosity because of the scales on it.!!! I was well surprised for the money spent..i couldn't believe the quality of this knife.. i don't even know what i could use this for.. its not a legal carry like all my other collection... I know ..!!! definitely a strong garden knife....

Easy to extend and close by one hand, and quit strong to fix when extend the blade. also Blade of shape is good to cut.
Maker is Magnum by boker. Material is nice. Assembly of my knife is good.
Many things are nice knife for the cost. Just excellent knife!

    Good solid Knife

Posted by Don on 30th May 2015

The only niggle for me with this knife is the wood grip, the fitting of which is not flush with the metal on both sides and at each end, the gap is filled with what looks to be buffing wax which lets down the look of the knife for me..... This however does not detract from the fact that this is still a very good solid knife, I can open and close the blade with one hand no problem, the movement is reassuringly firm. The metal finish is very good too I have to say and the addition of the Torx head key is a nice idea to add to the package¦. For the price , I mustn't grumble¦. Quick service from Heinnie, thanks guys..

    Decent budget knife

Posted by James L on 21st Jan 2014

I am really pleased with this as a budget knife on the "good enough to use, cheap enough to lose" principle. Nicely packaged in a tin box and although light it appears to have a reassuringly solid construction. Mine is nicely finished and I would say it is well worth the money for a basic budget knife. If I have any criticism at all it is that the liner lock is, perhaps, a tiny bit too stiff for ease of use, but I think I would rather the lock be too stiff than loose or flimsy. A decent item at a very reasonable price indeed.

    no quality

Posted by Ricardas on 13th Sep 2013

This knife is really bad quality. It's hard to open blade, problem to unscrew handle scales, because the screws is to soft, but what you can expect for this money?

    Excellent in every way

Posted by Jonathan on 9th May 2012

I ordered this knife on Monday evening (04/09/12) and came home from work today to see it had arrived (06/09/12)!!
That is an excellent, swift service, and I was even more impressed by the knife itself.
Well presented and packaged, razor sharp out of the box too.
Its really well finished too. My only grumble is that the blade is slightly off centre when closed, and it's really tough to open one-handed due to the positioning of the thumb screw.
All in all, though, a very satisfying experience.
    Thanks guys!

    Go for it.

Posted by Sam on 29th Sep 2011

Not sharpened it myself but it is already very sharp.
I think the Chinese craft work shows here, several screws are chewed, and may need the tiniest bit of resin to fill a gap where a screw doesn't fit flush against the wooden handle.
Its relatively comfortable to hold, the only niggle being the clip which if held LH can feel cumbersome. However it can be removed.
Closing with one hand can be tricky as the liner lock is quite stiff. A nice smooth action when opening and closing the knife.
One thing I would be careful about: make sure it is actually locked as it makes a quieter click and springs into place before it actually locks, once it's locked however it stays there well and truly with no hint and play in the blade.
Overall fit and finish is quite good considering the price. I would say in face that I would of happily paid twice the price.
    Trialing as EDC.

I would say definitely go for it, what do you have to lose? £15 and so much to gain.
