Lion Steel T5 Micarta

Light but very strong.

Impeccable service from HH. So far really impressed with the knife. Lovely design of blade and handle. Good size and weight. The most micarta handle which is machined from a single block is really impressive looking and feels great in the hand. It's a mid size knife though so does feel a bit small for some tasks like chopping but a bit big others like whittling. I guess you can't have everything...

I received my knife last week and had the time to baton with it and make feathers for fire. It comes out of the box pretty sharp and is even more beautiful than on the pictures. I love the handle, safe and comfortable. The steel is of a good quality and at a rather reasonable price I just got a high quality bushcraft knife. It is well balanced and I love the sheath (if you like leather ones of course). Don't hesitate if you are looking for a great knife at a descent price. I received my order the next day, amazing service from H&H as they inform you about how your order is being processed throughout the day.

The other reviews reflect much of what I think about this excellent knife. Perhaps a couple of things to add: I was worried about the size of this knife as it was much bigger on paper than anything I had owned previously. While it is big, in real life it is far more useable than I had imagined it would be. In fact I now find myself opting for this knife over any of my others for delicate as well as robust tasks. I have very large broad hands and the handle fit is fine, perhaps a little tight in a couple of grip positions when I really think about it, but have never noticed it when in use and I certainly won't be setting about it with sandpaper. I like this knife so much I suspect I will end up getting others from Lionsteel. Service excellent as always.

This is probably the best fixed blade that you can buy for the money (and probably a whole lot more money, too). It's comfy in the hand, the machined micarta monoblock handle seems to grip your hand, in any combination of grips... Decent steel, beautifully ground, with a razor sharp edge. First rate Leather sheath that would probably cost a fortune, were you to buy it on it's own...I've got a lot of LionSteel's stuff, and everything of theirs that I have is fantastically well made & designed, but this probably represents the best value for money of all their products... Such a knife made in the US would be double the price at least.. HH's service was, once again, flawless..

The pictures do not do this justice - in hand it is a thing of beauty. Perfect ergonomics and flawless engineering, every square millimeter of this knife has been thoughtfully designed and finished to perfection. Looks and feels like a £300 knife and a really good quality steel too.

I'm no knife expert and so totally unqualified to say anything except that this T5 is absolutely gorgeous - and worth every penny. It looks nice in the online videos, but they do nothing to prepare you for how jaw dropping it is in the flesh. Before you get it in your hands you think £150 odd quid for a knife is a lot of money, then when you open the box and take it out of its lovely sheath you think- how come you can get a knife like this for only £150.?

Picked this up a couple of days ago and can't recomend it enough. Was considering the Fallkniven S1 Pro but so pleased I went with this instead. Handle geometry is excellent. Not really tested the blade yet but was shaving sharp out of the box. The sheath is really nice but would have preferred Kydex as that seems more practical. Not there is anything wrong with the sheath and in use it may prove excellent. Excellent service as usual. Would recommend this blade to everyone.
