    Linder Pathfinder

Posted by Phil Greenhill on 25th Aug 2021

Bought it as much out of curiosity as anything else, thought it'd fit in with my military knives. The fit and finish is good and it arrived quite sharp, as an aside I dodn't know how long it'd stay sharp in general use as the sheath is metal and I'm not sure of how much clearance there is inside it. Sheath's metal with a narrow leather strap, quite nice. Only thing I don't like about it is a fibre washer under the hilt/top of blade, I can see why it's there but it doesn't fit the profile of the guard so the edges overhang, it's cosmetic but I can't see why they couldn't have made it to fit

    German scoutknife orgionale

Posted by HUGH GUNN on 4th Aug 2021

In the quest to track down a genuine(not fake) german scoutknife I was captivated by the so-called,"pathfinder" as,it appears many other collectors at present .I believe the vogue for pathfinders has its orgion root in the fact that, putting aside for one moment the closeness to the HitlerJugend fahrtmesser the near identical presentday scoutknife remains in financial reach of the young scout .Though no longer a teenager I felt like sixteen again when heinze Haynes parcel arrived and I presently was able to admire my pristine one-hundre d perce nt orgionale pathfinder

    German scoutknife orgionale

Posted by HUGH GUNN on 28th Jul 2021

Fascinated by the current vogue for the vintage HJ/postwar german scout hknife with spiralling prices for the few orgionale pieces and plethora of garbage fakes I was delighted to find on heinze haynes'site a perfectly new in box rendition of the classic,"pathfinder" made by renowned makers Linder. Not only is the knife of hi quality the price is miniscule compared to some relics on the market and affordable to the present day german boy or girls out to boot

all right but remember this is a chinese made knife and not up to the usual german standads I wish these compnie would tell us where theyre products are made but they hide this fact to H&H first class service 11 out of 10 had it been german 5 stars

    chinese made

Posted by honestjock on 22nd Feb 2019

to h&h for service and delivery 11 out of 10. as for this knife not so good . this is a chinese made knife . I dont like chinese goods as they are made by slave type labour puma and linder both do this and call them linder or puma world . they do this to stop buyer from knowing where they are made . I would be much happier if puma linder and H&H would have the courage to let buyers where theyre good are made not german made so three stars

    German Quality

Posted by Michael on 21st Jan 2016

Received yesterday from HH in the early morning post. Ordered about 13.00 the previous day. I 'll only make a brief comment regarding delivery, you all know the story. Every other mail order company world-wide should aspire to deliver like HH. They set the bench-mark and constantly outdo themselves. The knife is a piece of quality German engineering. Not the sharpest out of the box , maybe, but certainly sharp enough and capable of holding a fine edge. It's beautifully put together and worth every penny. I'd recommend it without hesitation.
