Kizer have been around for a little while making some great knives. Their latest designs, however, are now competing with the best and are beginning to require the moniker "excellent". They have gone from great to off the scale!

We present the Kizer WPK Friction Folder. It's a cracking little friction folder with a non-locking blade under three inches long making it UK legal carry. The tang is extended which is used to keep the blade open during use simply with thumb pressure. Despite its size it has a hefty design and feels big and very comfortable in the hand with its smooth titanium handle scales.

Really beautiful knife, well presented, oozes with quality. Very happy with my purchase, and the usual top service from HH!

one of my favorite EDC knives

I recently got this knife and for its length it feels remarkably solid and heavy duty. It's a weighty little knife but I think it adds to its solid feeling. The detent is stiff while closed which works well with the pocket clip so it won't open in your pocket and also assists in opening when the detent let's go. It's made its way into my top 5 EDC knives beating knives like the uk fox suru (which is also brilliant)

    Small but mighty

I have a love of friction folders, and had considered this knife for a little while before buying it. Part of the reason for my hesitation was the size, this is a small knife, only half filling my regular to large-sized hand. However, this little gem has won me over. Titanium scales with a smooth matt finish that feel almost silky in the hand offer a surprisingly good grip. The blade is equally well finished, and came with an excellent edge. There is a detent, and the blade clicks open with a satisfying mechanical feel, and clicks into the open position similarly. Obviously the extended tang is the primary mechanism for holding the blade open, and it does that just fine. The Wharncliffe blade shape should mean that you won't be doing much in the way of stabbing to worry about the blade closing on you anyway. The detent spring isn't overly strong, but not a huge issue with it being a friction folder. Nice little touches like the anodised polished ring around the pivot add to the knifes appeal, and the packaging is top notch! I have honestly spent 3 times as much and not seen packaging quite as smart looking! Size wise, it does benefit from having a lanyard for that bit of extra grip but altogether, this is a rather lovely little knife.

    Excellent

Placed an order for a Case Barlow which was out of stock and after a few days contacted HH by phone on a Thursday to change order to this Kizer which arrived on Friday, the next day. My UK legal carry collection is now at 50+ and my whole knife collection which includes locking folders and a few fixed blades must be approaching treble figures, if not more. I'll have to do an accurate count some day, as I am now buying knives just to own and collect and that will never see an use Right, down to my new EDC. In all the knives I own, NONE has come better presented than this Kizer. It comes in a very nice box with a magnetic "lock", a knife carry pouch, warranty paperwork, and for the first time ever, a cleaning cloth and a Kizer keyring. All very nice. The knife itself is a piece of work. Cannot find a single flaw on it. Its a bit bigger. heavier and chunkier than the knife its replaced in my pocket, an ADV Micro Impi, put it has earned its place as it is RAZOR sharp. It has been a long time since I bought a pocket knife that arrived this sharp. It is on a par with any of my 10 Global kitchen knives which are all like miniature Samurai swords for the kitchen. Highly recommended if you are after something scalpel sharp.
