A revolution in slip-joint construction! The Kizer Vagnino Zipslip G10. Custom knife makers Michael Vagnino and Tom Ferry have collaborated on a brand new knife mechanism called the "Ever Flush Spring" concept. The design includes a slit in the backbar creating the spring and upper tang stop meaning the backbar stays in place during opening and closing. Open the blade and watch the back bar stay in place and motionless.

Kizer have now produced this superb UK legal carry knife with G10 handle scales in a choice of colours and an N690 stainless steel blade.

This ticks the boxes I look for in an EDC knife: ONO, finger choil, 7.6cm, clip. Of course I have to compare it with the UKPK and it’s just not as good. The opening hole isn’t quite big/proud enough for your thumb to catch naturally, the opening force, half-way click, and fully open clunk are fine. Unfortunately closing the half-way stop is too close to the handle rather than 90degrees so you can catch your finger on the blade. The scale texture is good though. The clip grips well once on, but it can be difficult to get it to grab a pocket edge initially. Overall I want to like it, and it’s OK, just not as sorted as a Spydie.

I am so so so very please with this purchase... Honestly such a good knife for the money! I saw a couple videos saying it closes rather easily which worried me, but fear not as it is absolutely fine! Early delivery from Heinnie Haynes too! Very happy!

A nice little slipjoint , well put together. One of the more expensive Chinese knives of this type but no complaints about quality.

I've got 3 of these now. Absolutely love them. Perfect UK knife. No lock, but you can hold the blade open with the finger groove . Great steel, very sharp, incredible build. Amazing.

Very nice well built slippy,my first knife with a n690 blade and was a bit dissapointed how sharp it was ootb,but a quick 15 mins on the worksharp and its now stupidly sharp,i can see how some winge about the spring and strange halfstop but im fine with it as i only use it for normal work use.Realy feels like a more expensive knife in the hand and the fact it uk legal means ill be carrying this for some time to come.Thanks HH
