The Kizer Cat Shark is an ingenious design with as many practical uses as it has looks. The stubby blade is made from N690 stainless steel with an extended tang to help keep the blade in the open position. It also benefits from a slight indent in the frame which again provides a degree of resistance to blade closure. There is no locking mechanism and the blade in under three inches long so the knife is classed as UK legal carry.

The handle has a G10 scale with orange G10 and steel pivot and a steel frame extended to accommodate a spanner. A stainless pocket clip is attached and there are many points to attach a lanyard

    KIZER CAT SHARK FRICTION FOLDER

Posted by Richard B on 16th Aug 2021

Not a bad little knife, arrived very sharp, nice small size and reasonably easy to open with one hand. On the negative side its a bit pricey for what it is in comparison to other knifes, the pin making it a locking knife is a good concept but there is nowhere to store it making it easy to loose, the packaging is cheap and nasty, shame for The price it doesn’t come with a case

Lovely little knife, just large enough to handle and open safely with one hand. Seems well made and assembled. The blade came sharp and is just large enough to be useful. Shame it's made in China ! Good service as usual from HH.

    Kizer Cat Shark Friction Folder

There is much to like about this unusual little knife. It’s very sharp, it’s U.K. friendly, it’s very well made and classy. For many ithe tang bottle-opener would be a nice useful addition but in my opinion I can only evisage pockets being pulled apart by it and it makes an otherwise nice pocketable knife into something unnecessarily slightly larger and more awkward to carry.

    Love it

Immaculate construction, feels great in the hand and came hair-popping sharp. Makes a great fidget knife due to it having so many ways to snap it open but also makes for a great day to day work knife due to its solid construction.

most excellent. unusual shape but addictive to fiddle with

Posted by Rafe on 25th Jan 2021

So , its unsual, A strange shape blade with a very curved belly and a large choil. The blade isa bit small and awkward to use for much but is razor sharp and hollow ground so very slicey. The back of the knife is asymmetric and the base of the knife tapers almost to a strange little pry (not that you'd want to damage it by using it for such but The action is amazing, the friction bar give perfect purchase to flick open with an amazing double click furthermore the knife comes with a ferro rod/locking bar seperate. Designed Im sure to be on a lanyards from one of the many holes in the back plate. one is even hex shaped and the friction folder bar if reversed is a bottle opener...cool just not sure what I want it for but is seems to be in my pocket all the time at the mo!

Very fast delivery from HH. This is one sweet knife, I love it. It fits my hand very well. The ball bearing blade stop works well, holding the blade open or closed. The materials that it's made of are very good quality the only improvement would be better blade steel. But at this price N690 isn't bad. I would recommend this knife to anyone, it's a cut above.
