    Game changing...

Posted by Lawrence W on 2nd Oct 2017

Where to start? OK, the beginning I came to this having read an article on the very similar but (to my mind anyway) extremely expensive Keybar. Off the back of that I also checked out the Key Ninja but what took my attention here was the UK/EU extended version which seemed just what I wanted. And it is! And it had changed the way I do so many things. Before KeySmart I carried out bagged up to four noisy bulky and occasionally painful bunches of keys on split rings. Now I have one compact key 'tool' that contains all but the two largest of the 16 keys I used to wear out my pockets with, and all in a package barely larger than the Victorinox Swiss Army knife/tool that also goes everywhere with me. All my keys are now organised so they are ready to hand in the order I usually use them - no more jingle jangle fumbling. The only potential downside is that all my keys/eggs are now in one basket so I now use a lanyard, belt hook or the natty 'dangler' thingy that I got from HH shortly after my original purchase. One or two things I have discovered: If you're going to put more than 6 keys on it get one of the extension packs at the same time and save on the postage. You'll need the extra long screws and extra spacers may be useful. Watch the assembly video with the bits to hand But don't be afraid to get creative with your use of spacers. The one key I thought would be a problem - brass Mortice lock security key - fits just fine with 2 or 3 spacers either side of it Its worth spending some time to think out how & when you use your keys and put them in an order that suits you e.g. Home keys at one end, work keys at the other. So there you go - five stars and a hearty recommend - try one, it might make your life easier too! Thanks HH!
