Perfect! Pity to spoil it by using it..!

This is a lovely tool... I got the slightly bigger version, with a 12" handle, so the axe head's a bit bigger too- it's around the same size as my Estwing hatchet, but way better..! It's super sharp, with a stainless head, and the finish on the handle's beautiful..! Nice sheath, lovely packaging, and a diamond sharpening steel thrown in. It ain't cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for... I'll be using this on my next trip out to the woods, although, it would be a pity to spoil it...!

i love this little thing, have used for splitting wood, and skinning rabbits, is sharp when arrives, but also takes a good edge if you decide to hone it. great little thing

    Mmmm

I already own various felling, tactical, double head and splitting axes but decided that I still needed another and decided that as I own a little woodland, something smaller than my other axes that I could easily wear on my belt would be what I would buy. And smaller this is. When I opened the box I thought I had mistakenly been sent a child's toy. Yes I had looked at the specs before buying and even though I knew it would be small, I wasn't prepared for this. It's actually 23cm long and not 25cm as advertised. I immediately decided that I would return it but after holding it for a while it started to grow on me; it just feels good to hold. The quality and the workmanship are fantastic and it was shaving sharp out of the box. So I decided I would give it a go and see how it performed. I am now very pleased that I kept it. It cuts way above its size and easily handled what I have thrown at it so far. It is more than capable of the ad hoc jobs I will use it for as I work in my woods. I really enjoy the craftsmanship that has gone into this little ax, it really is delightful.
