The Piggyback is the smallest knife in the Johnson Adventure line but it doesn't know that. The Piggyback is purpose-built for field dressing game from upland birds to big, nasty hogs and everything in between. Its simple skeleton design is very easy to clean up and it is made of high carbon stainless steel so keeping an edge on it is easy. It has a deep belly and an abrupt clip point that is perfect for unzipping skin from forelegs and other critical areas when caping out a trophy. The Piggyback is all about toughness, simplicity and ease of use. It comes standard with the Baconmaker and Potbelly but is also sold here separately.

Mine isn't marked Ka-Bar - just some "Adventure" logo... I was wondering who the hell made this knife for ages... now I remember. Probably give it away to a * or something...

    Small

I love this knife I carry it on a dogtag chain. It's really small but very functional and easy to hide. Wasn't too sharp out of the box but that's easily fixed.

    Awsome Inexpensive Knife

Posted by Steven on 12th Feb 2014

Really cool wee knife, so cool I'd consider buying more as gifts and maybe a spare for myself! Could be sharper out of the box, but that's no big issue. Handle isn't all that comfortable being that it's so thin (to be expected with the style of the knife though), but wrap it in paracord and it becomes far more comfortable in the hand and has an element of being 'your' knife being wrapped in your favourite paracord (I went for the "Zombie Undead"). The upper thumb ramp near the tip is a really nice feature, glad they included that. The sheath snaps on pretty firmly and does the job elegantly. The eyelet at the top of the sheath isn't big enough to allow normal paracord through without removing the guts first, but I've found the "Tec Accessories Split Ring Kit #1" handy for situations such as this (worth looking up on HH). For under 11 quid I can't be anything other than extremely pleased with this product.

    Very pleased

Quite happy with my new Piggyback. It's fairly small but I'd watched a youtube video first so knew what to expect. It wasn't exactly razor-sharp out of the box, but that's nothing that can't be fixed. The plastic sheath has a positive "click" on, with a lanyard hole at the tip making this perfect for use as a neck knife. Overall, a handy little knife at a good price.
