    Just OK.

There's something very appealing about the simplicity of the design but unfortunately, at least on my model, the fit and finish is quite poor. The backspring isn't close to being flush regardless of blade position, the bale pin is uneven making the bale lopsided, and although the blades don't touch each other or the the sides of the scales the "crinking" of the blades is excessive. It did however arrive acceptably sharp and feels reasonably solid. I think if this were a sub £10 knife I'd be less dissapointed.

    Two years later....

Main blade takes a good long-lasting edge and the knife then copes well with cutting cardboard and plastic sheeting at work. Better than I thought at first. It requires a bit of effort but is well worth it.

    sharp as silk too

Well-made, main blade smooth opening. Lanyard loop is stiff and stops wee blade opening easily. Both blades blunt. If it was sharp like a Rough Rider it'd be 5 out of 5. Nice piece though, if only they'd sharpened it.

    Smooth as silk

A very neat design that rests easily in the pocket. Well engineered with a smooth as silk action that belies its rugged good looks. Sheffield can still produce one of the best.
