Arrived in good time. Just as advertised. Knife seems to have a good edge. Will be interested to see how it wears.

    Very good manufacturing

I'm satisfied.. Joseph Rodgers, formerly William Rodgers (Fairbairn & Sykes) makes the best of sheffield blades. My British Army Knife works excellent, and its sharper than my wife. Greeting from Germany - yours Hans Todt

    Built like a tank

This thing has heft. It's much larger than I expected but in a good way, and won't suffer from the issue of other folding knives where the blade is inaccessible with gloves on. It didn't arrive super sharp, but I'd been hoping to learn a little bit about how to sharpen knives properly anyway. A welcome addition to my gear.

Good sturdy knife although there is no nail nic on the blade. The lock is a great feature not seen on the one i was issued.

    Sheffield Lockback British Army knife

Knife received was of poor quality. Can opener blade backspring is too weak to keep blade open. Also excessive side-to-side wobble.

    British army knife

Arrived today/26th ordered /25th delivery very prompt as always. This knife was ready to go straight from the box. A good edge & well finished all round ,only one very minor issue when closed the blade is a little too slack by that i mean it Doesn't snap closed firmly. but it is perfectly acceptable . overall very pleased with my purchase.

    SHEFFIELD GENUINE BRITISH ARMY KNIFE

Posted by Lester M on 18th Sep 2021

I have one of these knives, dated 1953. Everything works smoothly and the blade is easy to touch up. Expect to get at least 68 years of use, if you buy one:-)
