    disappointing

Posted by supersix on 17th Feb 2021

just let me say.. fantastic service .. brilliant delivery . .been using heinnie for almost 15 years never let me down.. unlike this knife sorry.. it was a gift to me. so returning it not reasonable.. fit and finish us poor.. blade is good. sharpens and performs well.. blade play on both the blade and the opener . bith lateral and horizontal.. i like the weight as it it reassuring.. but wouldn't depend on this knife for longterm use.. if this is Sheffield's best . then you can do better.. don't waste your money. as for being part of current issue to troops . were in trouble.. corners cut. and poor effort. sorry heinnie. its a bit rubbish..

    British Army Knife

Smaller than I remember after being given my Grandads as a kid (Long lost) A pocket able knife, can opener works great in my motorhome. Just finished making a lanyard for it. Ten minutes to put a better edge on it. Sharp enough now. Just need a grandkid now to hand it down too!

    Great Retro Knife

Posted by Oggi on 3rd Jun 2018

I love this knife for its retro appeal, it's simplicity and it's made in England! But I have a few niggles: 1. No knife should leave the factory with a seriously burred blade - nothing my Lansky can't sort out. 2. This blade locks, the version with the marlin spike does not (I now have both). So not legal EDC. 3. This version has more of a brushed finish when compared to my highly polished marlin version. 4. The action of this model is slack when compared to the fingernail breaking action of my marlin but this is compensated by the blade lock. Other than that, I love it, it's a really cool knife and HH's customer service is superb.

    W.Rogers Army Knife

Stainless steel, with the best tin opener on any knife I know. The blade is practical as is the rest of the knife. A real man 's tool.
