    I have quite a few knives from Solingen but have only recently discovered Hartkopf. I ordered my first one yesterday and it arrived this morning (well done HH and UPS). I have only just stopped drooling enough to write a review without short circuiting my keyboard. This is without doubt a beautiful knife - heavy and chunky yes, but unquestionably beautiful. the design is a German masterpiece, the fit and finish is incredible and the stag scales are the best I've ever seen (I've seen quite a few). This is so tactile that I find it difficult to put down. Hartkopf are a small company but they deserve to be better known. I'm convinced that my new knife will become a family heirloom. It will last forever.

    Got a few of these type of knives, the stag hunters! This is as good as any of the rest! Solid, fit and finish are awesome great pocket knife, I'm sure if I have grand children I'll be passing this on!

    A solid, heavy, and beautifully made example of German knifemaking. Fit and finish is perfect, extremely sharp, and will last forever.
