Glock Field Knife - Saw back

This thing came LITERALLY blunt. DO not buy unless you're prepared for some serous re-profiling and honing. I was expecting a sub par edge for the price but nothing this bad. Perfect service from HH as usual but this knife is not good out of the box.

a first class knife the military influence is plain to see it is functional robust and reliable this is aknife made with serious intent to say that i am well pleased would be an understatement

Excellent knife! These knives are world renown as being one of the toughest knives at a very reasonable price. They are prone to rust being 1095 carbon steel but if looked after a Glock field knife will last a life time. With a Rockwell hardness of 55HRC you know this is a very tough reliable blade. No box is provided with these knives but they do come reasonably sharp enough as an immediate working field knife. Of course they can be sharpened to your purpose. As a bayonet they do the job and were originally developed by Glock to be used as a bayonet attachment on the Steyr AUG rifle. As a combat knife, field knife, survival knife it is perfect. The handle is very comfortable and works well in all weather. Both the grip and the sheath are made of Glock-polymer.

Nice bit of kit,very sharp,nice weight,the only hang up is I wish the blade was glued instead of coated in the stuff it has on it as I put these knives into the u.s.m8 A1 scabbards which tend to peel the black coating off but don't be put off by that these are a top knife & they really do look even better in a snug fitting M8 A1 sheath !

Glock 81 field knife. As usual speedy delivery from H/H had my eye on one of these for a long time, I chose this model as the saw back may prove more useful, it has a nice feel in the hand & has a decent weight to it the factory edge is good . overall very pleased with my purchase, and would recommend this as a good all round utility knife.
