The Ganzo 7453 folder is a very impressive knife, beautifully contstructed, has a 440C black coated nicely centred blade, dual thumbstud, a secure G-lock, hefty G10 handle...but it's even greater and impressive feature is it's price. This quality at this price is almost unbelievable and certainly unprecedented!

When these knives were delivered to Heinnie HQ we estimated a £60 to £80 price tag. That is the quality they convey.

And just for good measure this model has a whistle attached to the lanyard creating a superb outdoor knife.

    Astonished

    Posted by DocScott19 on 14th Jul 2020

As usual 10/10 for delivery and service from Heinnie. I bought this knife after reading the reviews on this site and for the money I don't think there is a knife that can compete. £30 gets you a razor sharp, perfectly centred 440C blade fitted to perfectly machined G10 scales with an action almost a smooth as a Benchmade - my jaw literally hit the floor when I took this knife out of the box and opened it for the first time! If the name on the blade was anything other than Ganzo then this knife would cost £75-£100 - its that good.

    Best Mistake I’ve Made

Posted by Lee on 15th May 2020

I’ll start by clarifying my Review Title. I did not mean to buy this knife! I’d put it in my basket along with 3 other knives before deciding I was only going to buy 1 of them; I thought I’d removed it but when I put my order in up it popped. However at under £30 for this knife I thought I’d go with the flow & bought it. It arrived within a couple of days, well done again Heinnie for a superb service, & I was immediately impressed with it. The build quality is right up there with my Spyderco Tenacious! It’s got a good weight to it, it’s bigger than I thought it would be & the locking/unlocking action is smooth. The blade was sharp out of the box, maybe not as sharp as my Spyderco but a quick strop & it was ready to go. If you’re after a decent lock knife & aren’t too much a Brand Tart then I’d recommend this little beauty.

    Outstanding value for money

Posted by Robert on 1st May 2020

Ordered yesterday and received this morning! Thank you HH for the great service once again. This (Not so) little knife is amazing value for money, the workmanship is very good without even considering the price point. Following a little bit of fettling, remove a little spring tension, clean and reoil the pivot etc it opens and closes like a dream, steel is half decent, grind is good, fit and finish are all spot on. Highly recommended as of equal quality to other knives in my collection that cost many times the price. Get one whilst you can B

    Still outstanding

Posted by Singleagain on 3rd Oct 2019

I was just cleaning this knife this evening and was struck by how good it is, hence a second review. It is now over a year since my initial purchase, and the knife has been in regular use for food prep - mainly cutting meat. Obviously loose the whistle - not required in my kitchen! But having had an initial application of copper grease to loosen it up, the action remains amazing. I can still flick it open with very little wrist, and it will still drop shut. All this with being regularly rinsed under the hot tap without further lubrication. As an extra bonus, the blade centering remains spot on - unlike many of my much more expensive knives. In addition, the 440C blade strops back to a razor edge remarkably easily. So all in all this is a knife which could easily be discounted because it is so cheap, but trust me, that would be a mistake. Get one while you can!

    Astonishing Value!

Posted by singleagain on 23rd Nov 2017

Ordered this and it was in my hand 24 hours later. Great service as ever from HH. This is an awful lot of knife for the money - bigger than I expected without being too heavy. Nicely put together, blade centering is spot on with no play, solid lock up and opens one handed OTB. The best things about it for me - being left-handed - are the reversible clip and dual thumb studs. As far as I can see, this is also true of the Ganzo 704 and the 717, and also (maybe) the 716, which has a different clip arrangement. Why can't all manufacturers be this considerate? If I have any criticism, it would be that the scales could be a little more grippy, and also that, if anything, it looks almost TOO tactical. But all in all, at the price, astonishing value for money which might yet give other manufacturers a few sleepless nights! Well worth buying.
