Fox Knives Military Division have built a reputation for their ability to construct a heavy duty work tool for the professional user.

The Fox MD Anunnaki is an extremely well built, heavy duty folding knife, equipped with a double-lock system. The tool has an integral back lock, and to ensure absolute rigidity, it is also equipped with a slide-lock in the handle scale.

The 11cm N690Co Stainless Steel blade has a non-reflective black Cerakote finish. Cerakote is a state of the art coating which provides a durable, weather and corrosion proof protective finish that resists scratching, chipping and abrasion.

The Anunnaki are said to be a group of ancient Mesapotamian deities.

    Amazing! Never, ever thought that a folder would replace a fixed blade as my 'go to' outdoor /camp knife ...but this has! It's like a scaled down Cold Steel Rajah 2, in a decent steel.

    Quite an unusual shape for a folder,but for its uses makes a lot of sense. Quite heavy,which is needed and feels absolutely rock solid. Blade is super sharp,back lock equipped with secondary lock,like I said solid. Comes with a decent sheath for belt carry. All in all an unusual addition to my collection,but a very welcome one.. Cheers all...

    Very good, but not perfect

    It is a big and strong folder, and can take quite a beating. The handle can be uncomfortable due to the finger grooves that always end up giving me mad blisters unless I'm wearing a gloves or something when chopping around with it because it seems to be designed for me with very large hands. Lock is super stiff to disengage as well but I suspect it's just a matter of breaking it in enough due to the ceracoating making it too tight so you have to press down on it with all yoru might so you can close the blade, my Aruru's lock is very smooth to operate, which is pretty much identical minus the coating on the lockbar and blade. Attractive and massive, good strong steel and the finish on it is extremely good, no rough edges or scratches or dents anywhere, handle scales sit perfectly and the overall quality as far as looks go is top notch. Good and though folder that can take a beating but has its own quirks and flaws.

    Highly functional, heavy-duty folder

    I won't normally go for such a military looking folder as this, but it's unusual blade shape and handle are superbly functional. I've done a quick review, which I hope is helpful: - http://www.knotveryinteresting.co.uk/blog/?p=183 PS: The lock on mine was very stiff to begin with and rapidly got to stiff to use. However, Heinnie fixed it by return of post and it's now superb. Thank you!

    Masterpiece

    I was in my trusted knife shop, and as always they showed me some new knives...wanted to buy something different, and not always a Fox, but I kept holding in my hands this ANNUNAKI (Princely blood in ancient sumeric/akadian), and noticed that this was something special. After buying it, I realized why I had this feeling: this is such a strong, very sharp, versatile and mysterious piece of a knife/machete for every cutting task. It's a folder? Yes, it seems, but with the excellent locks and the high quality manufacturing it becomes a fixed blade. The black cerakote is an excellent choice: improves the cutting/gliding quality after the super sharp edge made the initial work. You have to keep one of these MASTERPIECES in your hand, the pictures can't give you the great feeling .

    Outrageously Good

    I have ten or twelve Fox folders and they tend to be very good, this one however is ridiculously good. Sharp, strong, and a double lock that creates a virtual fixed blade. The build quality is as close to perfect as you can get and it looks rather nice too. Buy one, now, you know you want one.
