The Survival knife comes with a handy fire stick that sits in an additional pocket on the wet-formed leather sheath that will ensure that wherever the knife is, you can create fire, even at 30 degrees below freezing point! The handles are made from Curly Birch, the fire stick also has Reindeer Antler to the top of the handle. The blade extends with an internal tang secured with a rivet to the top of the handle. It has a special sharp notch towards the top of the blade which is used to scratch against the firesteel to create sparks that can ignite tinder, paper, small shavings of wood or bark. The firesteel will last for more than a thousand strikes. It extends about 4.4 cm (1.75 inches) from the end of its handle.
There is a choice of either a 7.5cm or 10.5cm blade.
