The Extrema Ratio Silente really is one of a kind.

The two-part handle works as a superbly-engineered set of tactical pliers. As well as having a supremely strong grip, this tool can cut thick wire, steel rods, cables, and used as a glass breaker thanks to the tungsten carbide insert placed at its end.

The sheath protects the cutting part while using the clamp safely, but it can also release the blade with a retention system that can be activated quickly and silently.

The sturdy sheath allows the Silente to be fastened on the thigh or rigged on MOLLE, integrated into the operator's equipment and taking up minimum space.

Interesting design, beautifully executed..!

I first saw these around a year or so ago on a European site, and was intrigued from the start... I've had mine for a while, and I think it's more of a curiosity than something I'd actually get any real use out of, but it's a pleasure to own, nonetheless. Extrema Ratio make really fantastic quality tools, and this is no exception..! Fit & finish is superb, handle design is remarkable, and even the sheath is a wonder of craftsmanship & design... Top marks to Nick at HH who bagged it for me, after I sent him a link to the site I found it on, and HH service was brilliant as always....!
