Sorry Heinnie, but I didn't get this from your company, it was a prezzie, but I bought scales, liners and Corby bollts, for my first attempt , even if I do say myself it turned out to be a beauty! Great blade. P,s your delivery is second to none !!!

    but be warned

Wrapping this blank in paracord effectively removes the bump which is there to stop your fingers sliding onto the lovely sharp blade. Haven't done it and I would not like any one else to so I'm putting a proper handle on mine and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BLANK FOR A PARA CORD HANDLE but with a real handle its will be one of the best available

    Great knife but CAUTION

Posted by Ed Schembri on 18th Mar 2013

This is an absolutely phenomenal knife, great shape, feel, weight, strength..however...some models were released with a very shallow scandi grind. I was unlucky enough to purchase one of these models. O1 as a steel hasn't got great edge retention with a thin edge, and so as a remedy; a secondary bevel or convex edge can be applied to strengthen it. However, this convex/secondary bevel change the geometry of the blade making it hard to carve with, thus, you may feel the need to remove excess stock to achieve a sabre or flat grind to allow the secondary bevel/convexing to be a good carver. Beware that O1 rusts just by looking at it, but a patina works well with WD40 on the edge. Food for thought..

    1st impressions

Well its 3.5mm not 4.7mm sorry nick don't know what you measured it with (I use a ruler). But your not having this back, it's excellent, quick paracord wrap & away. Cuts better than the 2 new Moras that arrived the same day which means it cuts like a very sharp cutting thing and I'll be able to sharpen it (don't care how long it holds an edge if I can't sharpen it when it's blunt it may as well be disposable )so no more silly stainless knives thanks Mora, Opinel, Benchmade & Enzo.

    Best knife I've EVER had

Posted by Simon on 28th Jan 2013

It is practically indestructible. I've treated it REALLY badly on purpose to see how it holds up and it is spectacular. The knife now has a few scrapes on it but nothing deep and the blade is still really sharp even after me trying to blunt it. I couldn't recommend it more and it's superb for the price (if you have the time to put a handle on it). You only get the actual knife though. No scales, pins or leather for a sheath. Still, It's an amazing knife and worth a lot more than I paid in my opinion. Highly recommended.
