Known for his clean, simple, highly-usable designs, Richard Rogers releases another formidable knife from his shop in the scrubby hills of Magdalena, New Mexico.

Created with a slim, profile the CRKT CEO borrows many design elements from a high end pen aesthetic. With lubed ball bearings in the pivot to reduce friction, a slim thumb stud sets IKBS™ in motion, deploying the satin-finished stainless steel blade.

A locking liner keeps it securely in place between the sleek and strong glass-reinforced nylon handle.

Very nice and fun to fidget with

Posted by James on 1st Sep 2020

Good quality, well made and feels nice in the hand. Mine came with the blade a little off-true when open so I've dropped a star off due to that.

With the right technique you can flick this out with almost no movement required with your hand or thumb, it essentially ends up looking like you pressed a button and it opened automatically and could easily be mistaken for an assisted opening knife.

Locking knife with over 3 inches of blade so this isn't a UK carry item luckily.

It's a nice one to fidget with at home though and the slender blade makes it good for opening packages and such.

    Home office tool

Been eyeing this one out since it was awarded best buy of the year, finally decided just to order it and so glad I did.

An absolutely stunning little piece, a true gentleman's carry, although you can't technically carry it here in the UK, sits on the desk at home.

Box is the usual CRKT affair, simple and functional, similar to the blade steel, nothing fancy just good value for money.

Knife itself is beautifully slim and stylish and could easily be mistaken for a pen or vape. The thumb stud is perfectly placed and the opening action is smooth as silk thanks to the bearings. The blade is ever so slightly off centre, but nothing to worry about and there's minimal play when open. Liner lock is a bit tricky to fully engage if you have bear paws like me, but once compressed the blade will drop down freely and you simply push it closed with your index finger.

It won't handle heavy tasks like tearing down thick double walled cardboard, but is perfect for simpler tasks like opening letters or parcels.

Overall very satisfied with this purchase and commend Heinnie on their great service.

    Beautiful knife. Lovely design.

Posted by Steven Watford on 2nd Jun 2020

So pleased with this knife. Has to be the sexiest knife I've seen.
The design is fantastic. Feels very solid. The opening with the thumb stud is very smooth.
Very slimline. Wouldn't be EDC because of the lock mechanism but certainly deserves to be seen. It is that stylish that I feel even people who are not 'knife' people would appreciate it's looks. You won't be disappointed with your purchase.

A very nice office knife, elegant and classy with a good price

Posted by Sergiu on 27th Feb 2019

    Pros:
    - it is small and thin, not larger than a pen, thus excellent for office
    - the blade shape is very cool, perfect for small tasks
    - the glass reinforced nylon handle is quite grippy, despite its overall small size
    - the pocket clip can work well on a shirt pocket too
    - the relatively low price

    Cons:
    - the stiffness when you open it. It is quite hard to open one hand with the tiny thumb stud there, especially if you have larger hands - this really should be a fl**per!!
    - I had to file the corners of the lower part of the handle to make it a bit rounded and not hurt my hand

Overall a very cool folder?, like I said I wish this was a flipper - 4/5 stars

Pre ordered and arrived same day as arrived as HH compact conspicuous pocket knife its had got a liner lock plus is over 3inches so technically not edc, but perfect for office as it is as small as a pen and doesn't look out of place in top shirt pocket, deep pocket carry clip and ball bearing opening, lovely alley looking knife for light work/use

    I love this knife.

Posted by David on 3rd Jan 2019

I don't have anything like the collection of knives that some people on Heinnie have, but I do have a few Spydercos/Benchmade that cost well over £100. Without a doubt, this CRKT CEO is now my favourite knife. It is very well made and compared to most knives in the same price bracket, it stands head and shoulders above them for quality.
I always take the pocket clip off my knives but this is the first knife that I have left on as it is part of the design. I also want the clip to remain so that I can have the CEO tucked away discreetly in a pocket. As others have mentioned, it is the same size as a pen and will only take a pen-sized room in your pocket. It's probably a fraction too heavy for a shirt pocket but the ideal weight/size for a jacket.
Obviously I am not suggesting the carrying of this knife in public as it a) locks and b) the blade appears to be too long for legal carry.
As I would be devastated if I damaged or lost it, I will be ordering another as soon as Heinnie open again after the weekend.
    I love this knife.
