The Condor K-Tact Kukri borrows it's design from the classic Nepalese Kukri machete originating from late 1800's. It was the tool of choice of the Gurkha regiments and is still used as a basic utility knife by many Nepalese people.

Condor's version uses a 7.1mm thick slab of 1075 high carbon steel to produce a significant amount of weight during use which will bring down the biggest branches. The handle is "desert" tan micarta which incorporates a hefty exposed tang bringing great strength to an extraordinary tool.

It is supplied with a Kydex sheath with belt loop attached.

Posted by STEVE M on 11th May 2020

I HAVE THIS AND THE HD VERSION AND FOR THE SO CALLED IMPROVEMENTD I DO NOT SEE ANY.MINE WAS THINNER THAN THE HD AND THE ADDED POMMEL IS NO BETTER BEING THERE THAN NOT.BOTH THE GRIPS WERE TOO THICK SO THE KNIVES TURNED IN MY TINT MITTS.HAD TO THIN THEM OUT A BIT SO NO MORE TWISTING.THEY ARE BOTH MUCH BETTER NOW BUT I DO FEEL STUPID HAVING BOTH OF THEM,THINKING THERE WOULD BE A MAJOR DIFFERENCE.ON A FINAL NOTE THE HD FITS BETTER IN THE K SHEATH!

    Quality tool, excellent service

Posted by Graham on 16th Aug 2019

It's a great knife, no doubt about it. It arrived sharp and well packaged. The sheath is great, and due to the belt loop design you can attach it to your belt without undoing it. The retaining loop rotates out of the way so you can re-sheathe the blade without danger of cutting the strap off. Sheath is secure without the strap too, which is nice. Handle is comfortable, and the butt cap is useful, better than the traditional design, as I find the traditional khukri handle a little narrow for heavy use.. In use it feels robust and easy to wield , It's good at almost all the tasks I set it. If you're after a good quality Khukri, you could do far worse than this.

    K-Tac Review.

Posted by Pete on 23rd Sep 2017

Finally got the K-Tac out for a good testing and it lived up to its reputation. As a chopped it will go through most decent sized branches. But dont be thinking of felling any trees as you could be there awhile. small tasks takes some thought as its a big blade but managed feather sticks after a couple of attemps. All in All well worth the money.

    Good old Heinnie

Posted by Pete on 23rd Jun 2017

I ordered the Condor K-Tact Kukri Desert on Thursday at about 17.15pm . The guy who took my order said I had missed last post but it would be sent out first thing Friday morning. I said no problem. The knife arrived today Friday. For customer service I think that they are the best. I will write a review on the knife when i get a chance to take it out. Once again thank you to the staff at Heinnie.
